Thank you

Heartfelt thanks to our students, staff, and families for the way we have worked together to make our campus a vibrant and supportive community. I am immensely proud of our students for their dedication to their learning and for the kindness and respect they show one another every day. To our parents, thank you for your unwavering support and for helping to make Edrington a warm and inclusive place for everyone. I am deeply appreciative of our staff for their tireless efforts in delivering an exceptional education, their teamwork, and their commitment to our School. Wishing you all a very happy and safe holiday season with your loved ones, and I look forward to welcoming you back in 2025.

End of Year Celebrations

It is often hard to fathom how fast the school year goes, and whilst the teachers know the children are ready to embark on their next education step, they are always sad to say goodbye.

There is no better way than to finish the year with the ELC End of Year Concert. Throughout Term 4 the children have learnt and practiced many songs that featured on the day. This really highlights how lucky our children are to benefit from Mr Intilangelo’s wealth of knowledge and passion when it comes to music.

Reception and Pre-Prep classes sang four songs each and finished off the concert by coming together for a joyful Christmas medley. Mrs Rawlings presented the Pre-Preps with their graduation certificate as they look forward to Junior School in 2025.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you to the ELC staff, students and of course the families for a fantastic 2024. I hope you all have a well-earned and relaxing break spending time with loved ones.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Year 3 Leadership Day

Our Year 3 students are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to be a 2025 Captain. To assist them in learning about what it means to be a leader, communication and working as a team, Mrs Sherritt and I held a leadership day for the cohort. There were many different activities and discussions they took part in, and it was terrific to see them rise to the challenges they were presented with. We look forward to hearing their speeches and voting for our new leaders.

Happy Holidays

I would like to say a heartfelt thank you for a wonderful year. Thank you for supporting our Junior School and the work you do with your children at home. We have had another busy year with a lot of learning and events for our students. We wish you a wonderful holiday break and Christmas.

Celebration of Excellence

The Edrington community recently came together to celebrate student achievements in an uplifting evening, filled with invigorating music and awards. The memorable music and singing were quite stunning, with thanks to all our amazing students and teachers. Particular thanks go to Mr Campbell Reither, Head of Middle School Music, for coordinating the musical ensembles, choir and incredible massed singing. The beautiful Edrington video was created again this year by our very skilful Mr Shane Katzer, who we thank most sincerely for his time and creativity. We congratulate all the boys and girls who performed and received awards on the night.

Last Friday, we further acknowledged student achievements at the Semester 2 Academic Award Assembly at which many additional certificates, including Sports, Arts, Science and Maths awards, were received by proud hard-working students. Well done to all our students for applying themselves so well throughout Semester 2. We know you will all be looking forward to the upcoming summer holidays.
