Haileybury Senior Executive was busy last week planning the new year, and all staff return this week prior to students commencing on Monday, 29 January. The Haileybury team is excited about building on the outstanding 2023 education outcomes.
A highlight of the 2023 year was the strong academic performance with outstanding VCE results which has seen Haileybury graduates receive a wonderful range of university and post-school study offers. Haileybury student’s brilliant NAPLAN performance in 2023 demonstrates the strong base skills in literacy and numeracy that form the core skills for students to move into deeper analytical and creative work. Haileybury data, as shown on the MySchool website which was updated in December, clearly shows that Haileybury students are performing well above or above students from similar socio-education backgrounds in all 20 NAPLAN measures and categories across Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. This is a great testament to the Haileybury program, the outstanding work of Haileybury teachers and the commitment of Haileybury students to their own education.
